Rob has been in the business full-time since 1973 and worked part-time for a number of years prior while attending school.
He has a Business Management Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Rob has been involved in all facets of the General Agency and has been on the board for the past ten years. He has been President for 8 years and is responsible for the day-to-day management including Marketing and Underwriting.
Rob also served as President of American Association of Managing General Agents for the 2002-2003 term.

Prior to joining Midwest General Agency in 1973, Bob served in the Air Force and worked as an inspector and ratemaker for the Wisconsin Fire Insurance Rating Bureau. Bob was honored as the Company Representative of the Year by the Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin in 1996 and continues to be active in the association.
He serves on the Wisconsin Independent Agents Technical Committee and has written articles for the Wisconsin Independent Agent magazine on a variety of topic. He has a CIC designation.
Bob is currently Senior Vice President of R.W. Scobie Inc. and Branch Manager of the Eau Claire office.

Dirk began his professional career in 1979 following his graduation from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He has been active in the insurance industry since 1983 in a variety of financial, operational and management roles.
Dirk is a certified public accountant (CPA), and has earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designations. He is a member of a number of state and national accounting and insurance professional organizations.
Dirk has been affiliated with R.W. Scobie since 1998.
